Prayer Warriors

Ugh, not sure what I want to post here about this because I'm really sad right now- so this probably wont be my most eloquent, well composed post...sorry!

For those of you who pray, or believe even in healing vibes I need to ask for your help.

An amazing woman that I know and call a friend, Ashley,  was very badly injured after an accident with her wonderful horse earlier this week. Please pray for her recovery from her head injury and that there would not be any brain damage.  It's as simple and complicated as that.

This woman is one of the brightest, spunkiest, loving, most gorgeous, most fun people I've ever met.  She's also one of absolute BEST riders I know and one of the only people at my last barn besides my trainer that I'd let sit on my horses.

Please in honor of her, I am asking all of my readers to commit to wearing your helmet every.single.ride. Out of courtesy I am of course not giving out details of what happened, but I will say that for whatever reason, she wasn't wearing a helmet.  I AM NOT in ANY way calling her out for her decision during this difficult time, but since I have a forum here to influence and protect the well being of others, I am begging you, to always put your safety certified helmet on before you get on a horse.  Selfishly, I just do not want to get this news about someone else I care about getting hurt.  No one wants to get this kind of news about a friend, or family member.  It breaks your heart.

So let's pray for a miracle, pray she heals up fast and better than ever, pray that she's back in the saddle doing what she was born to do, RIDE!

Ashley loving on one of her many amazing ponies, Lex!
