When Someone Asks You: Why horses?

This is my 100th Blog Post!!! Whoo hoo!

Saw this on Marissa's site, then checked out the original post on Literary Horse...great question! Why horses? Can you capture in pictures the moment, image or representation of why they've captured your heart? It's the most expensive addiction, I'm a self proclaimed horse-a-holic, and have no plans to enter a 12 step plan to kick the habit :)

Here are my reasons "Why Horses":

Because this place is home to me...

Because of his fancy strut the first time I met him at one year old...
And the focus and trust in us he showed the first time we ever sat on his back at three years old...
Because when I do this...I cant possibly think about anything else in the whole world...Because when I saw this picture 6 years ago of an expressive, fuzzy, adorable bay filly on my old barn's website, I had no idea I'd ever move back to CA, or to that barn, or that she'd ever be mine... and yet, here we are!
